TheAnalyst PRO Location Risk Analysis Crime report compares the crime for the desired location to the national crime index. This is completed by accessing the US Crime index in the U.S. for 2017 as provided by 16,000 separate law enforcement jurisdictions. This data is provided by ESRI. The values are all referenced by an index value. The index values for the US level are 100, represented average crime in the country. A value of more than 100 represents higher crime than the national average, and value of less than 100 represents lower crime than the national average. For example, an index of 120 implies that crime in the area is 20 percent higher than the US average; an index of 80 implies that crime is 20 percent lower than the US average.
The Environmental Risk Analysis is limited to the 25 environmental records closest to the subject property location. EPA, authorized or delegated states, tribal and local jurisdictions conduct compliance assurance and enforcement activities related to federal environmental laws. The facility locations displayed come from the EPA databases and is shows known environmental records. The records may be simply an environmental permit but it may also be an environmental risk or hazard. Therefore additional research will be necessary to determine if the location identified may be a hazard to the property location you have selected. Properties reporting “Enforcement Activity” or “Compliance Activity” indicates that environmental inspections are active on the property until the inspector closes or the case settles the enforcement action.
